IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Terrance
Mccullough
October 20, 1948 – January 26, 2023
"A Scot/Irish will fight for their freedom and the love of their whiskey."
Terrance McCullough, 74, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
Mr. McCullough was born on October 20,1948, in Littleton, West Virginia, the son of the late Wilbert McCullough and the late Mary Jurich McCullough.
He was a veteran of the US Navy during the Vietnam War, where he served his country proudly until his honorable discharge. After the Navy he became a Merchant Marine.
He never let himself be tied down by one job. He loved painting and restoring old homes in Dahlonega, Georgia. His hobbies also included rope climbing and traveling. In 2018, he had an accident that limited his mobilities so he moved in with his daughter Angela, granddaughter Kaia, and loving pet Kylo. During this time he spent most days watching Westerns, collecting coins, stamps, and telling stories.
If you let our Dad tell it, there was his truth and a little mystery to solve in the McCullough family. Dad made sure of that. Even though there was distance and years between us the McCullough family will always find one another.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Rudy McCullough. Surviving Terrance are his loving twin daughters, Mrs. Angela McCullough Elam (supportive husband Dexter Elam) and Alice McCullough, both of Augusta, Georgia; one son, Alexander McCullough of Hemlock, Michigan; four grandchildren, Angela "Abri" Wright, Kaia Alicia Sullivan, Asia Lillie Alexandra McCullough, and Eva Gail Myers; his brother, Floyd McCullough of Dahlonega, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and many other relatives and friends.
