Teresa Lynn Moore, 42, entered heaven on December 29th, 2023, surrounded by family and friends. She was born on July 21, 1981, to Teresa "June" Robison Hendricks and Charles "Chuck" Hendricks.

She is survived by her daughter and grandson, Jana Cowan and Elijah; son, Joseph Moore; sister, Jill (Scott) West; and longtime best friend, Lakeyia Scott. She is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, a host of aunts, uncles, and other family members, and several close friends.

Teresa grew up in the heart of Clay, AL. From a young age, she found making friends easy and became a social butterfly. She enjoyed having fun and living life to the fullest. When you were with Teresa, you would always have a fun story to tell later about a silly or crazy thing that occurred. She loved her people in a big way. She also loved the Auburn Tigers and was always up for a War Eagle.

Teresa attended church at New Nation Worship Center in Augusta led by Pastor A. Wallace. She worked at Piedmont Healthcare for the last 5 years in radiology and then access. Teresa and LaKeyia started their own outreach program to feed the homeless and give donations throughout the surrounding area they lived in, always wanting to give back to the community.

Teresa was the type of person who never gave up, including right up to the end. It made her stronger and what she was known for in all she did throughout her life. Her obstacles took her down many paths, until she found her home in Augusta, GA, where she was a hard worker and made quite the impression on her friends and co-workers.
