IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Tena Marion Rebecca
Doyle Taylor
July 1, 1944 – January 27, 2026
‘Tena’ Marion Rebecca Doyle Bosdell-Taylor born 7/1/1944 in Metter Ga. to Henry Onnie Doyle Sr. and Susie Bell Arrington Doyle took her place in Heaven late night January 27, 2026. Born the only daughter, with 4 brothers, she no doubly knew how to hold her own! Siblings survived by: Onnie Doyle Jr. (proceeded by-Betty), Wynton Doyle (Rose). Proceeded by Burney Doyle Sr. (Pearl) and Glynn Doyle (survived by-Shirley).
She spent the majority of her life in Augusta Ga., where she lovingly, courageously and solely raised 4 strong children, who were in awe of her! Survived by, Angela Bosdell, Timothy Bosdell, and Tina Nichols (Timmy). Preceded by James “little Jimmy” Bosdell Jr., one granddaughter and two great grandchildren. She is also preceded by her husband and the love of her life, Harold ‘Randy’ Taylor. Additionally she loved and enjoyed 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
By profession Tena was a skilled secretary and a devoted mother, but more importantly she was larger than life to those who knew and loved her! She was no stranger to the darkness or struggles of this life, but despite any trials and tribulations, She lived life fully and unapologetically. She possessed such an alluring zest for life. She was full of fire, sass and unmatchable strength and beauty.
Above all else she adored spending time with her family and friends, and having a good time. She was the life of any party and she brightened every room with her contagious smile and resonating light. Her spunk and wit captivated those in her presence effortlessly.
Beyond her big personality she had the biggest heart. She loved so freely and accepted people just as they were; no judgement of their past or circumstances. She would often open her home and heart to others in need, sharing whatever she had, no matter how little. She was a force to be reckoned with to say the least and this world is so much less of a place without her in it!
She was a fierce fighter her whole life, so it was no surprise she went out a worrier, just as she lived; still defying all the odds. After a brutal, hard fought battle with cancer, she gained her wings and made her way home to be with our Heavenly Father, her mother and all those she loves who have been waiting to rejoice in welcoming her home! She is now free at last, and oh what a sight that surly is!
In her last days she was surrounded by the love, respect and the tender care she deserved. Her absence in this life will be felt so deeply by so many, but her memory will be rejoiced, celebrated and carried throughout time in the hearts of all of us!
