Mr. Ted Howard Screws, Sr., age 83, beloved husband of Ola Gnann Screws, entered into rest Friday, September 14, 2018 at home surrounded by his loved ones. Mr. Screws was born in Tattnall County, GA to the late Fred and Sally Kemp Screws. He was a member of the Mason Lodge # 65935 and a life Time Member of the Scottish Rites. Mr. Screws had served in the National Guard and later was a self employed contractor. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at Bellevue Memorial Chapel with Reverend Larry Harmon and Deacon George Boatright officiating. Interment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In addition to his wife, Mr. Screws is also survived by 3 sons, Jeff Screws (Linda) of Evans, Ga, Jerome Screws of Martinez, GA, and Ted Screws, Jr. (Stephanie) of Martinez, GA; 2 daughters, Elizabeth Walker (Philip) of Grovetown, GA and Carrel Best (Jerry) of Harlem, GA, and 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
