Tanya Yvette Wilkes, 54, entered into rest on Saturday, July 13th, 2024. She was born on December 19th, 1969, Fort Gordon, Georgia.

Tanya is survived by her husband of 16 years, William "Billy" Wilkes; two daughters, Brianna Doyle (Alex) and Amanda Wilkes; one grandson, Silvano Don Sanchez; one sister, Regina Strickland (Ben) of Harlem; and her mother, Lois Miller. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Cowan; brother, Donnie Cowan; and stepfather, Byron Miller.

Tanya worked for Columbia County for 10 years as a school bus driver, and she enjoyed keeping stats for Lakeside High School Varsity Boys Lacrosse.

Tanya was loved and will be missed by all who knew her.

A celebration of her life will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, July 20th, 2024, at Living Waters Full Gospel Church, 1319 Community Park Road, Augusta GA 30909, with Pastor Oscar Whiteside Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to service time.
