Tammy Powell, 57, of Augusta, entered into rest August 30, 2024.

Tammy was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, and video games. She also delighted in crafting and gardening. Tammy was a family woman and loved all of her family especially her precious grand babies. She will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Shirley Maddox and O.C. Maddox; and her brother, Tony Powell.

Survivors include her children, Michael Powell (Camry) and Mary Powell; her brothers, Tommy Powell and James Maddox; her uncle, Buck Powell; and her grandchildren, Camellia, Ezra, and Noah.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Rd., Augusta GA 30904, with Rev. Johnny Rockefeller officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM on Wednesday at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd. Martinez GA 30907.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the American Heart Association.
