Song Cha Hwang Andrews, a beloved matriarch and cherished member of her community, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026, at the age of 80. Born on March 29, 1945, Song was a beacon of kindness and warmth, known for her sweet demeanor and the deep love she held for her family, particularly her grandchildren, who were truly the highlight of her life.

Song's commitment to caring for others was evident in her roles both as a devoted wife to her husband, Daniel J. Andrews, and as a nurturing figure within her community. An excellent caregiver, she demonstrated unwavering support and love, enriching the lives of those around her. Her dedication extended beyond the walls of her home; as an active member of the Augusta Korean Methodist Church, she played a significant role, particularly within the Women's Groups, where her contributions were deeply valued.

A person who never met a stranger, Song enjoyed connecting with people from all walks of life. She frequently could be found at her booth at the local flea market, where she relished the opportunity to meet new people and foster friendships. This social spirit was also spotlighted during her morning walks at the YMCA alongside her dear friend, Pat, where she remained both physically active and socially engaged.

She leaves behind her loving husband, Daniel, daughter Ashley Boese, and grandchildren Tyler Robenolt (Dezi), Madeline Robenolt (David), Megan Robenolt (Dale), Christopher Boese, and Joseph Boese, who will remember her as a source of joy and inspiration.

Song is preceded in death by her parents, Chik Dang Hwang and Kal Pong Che, as well as her siblings, who she will be reunited with in spirit. Her life was one of compassion, community, and care, and she will be missed dearly by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday February 5, 2026 at the Augusta Korean Methodist Church, 2641 Barton Chapel Rd, Augusta, GA 30906. In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests donations be made to the church.
