Sok Nak Choi, 71, of Augusta, Georgia, entered into eternal rest on February 17, 2026. Born on February 10, 1955, in Chungcheong, South Korea, he immigrated to the United States and spent most of his life in Augusta. He worked and eventually retired as a skilled machine operator at Kennametal.

Sok was a kind, patient, loving, and devoted father whose life was defined by his giving nature and unwavering presence for his children. A true craftsman, he found great joy in building with his hands and was an avid fisherman who cherished the outdoors. Throughout his life, he shared these passions with his family, teaching them to find beauty and appreciation in the "small things" of life.

He is survived by his daughter, Suehui Ester Choi; his son, Sunkung Joshua Choi; his granddaughters Lillian Yoonah Choi and Scarlett Joonhee Choi; his sister, Myong S. Johns; and his brothers, Sae Nak Choi and Ku Nak Choi. He will be greatly missed and beautifully remembered.

The family will recieve friends from 12:00 until 2:00 PM on Tuesday February 24, 2026 at Thomas L. King Funeral Home and a Funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park
