Shirley Anne Johnson, 77, entered into rest on Friday, March 24, 2023.

Anne was born in Summerville, SC, on July 18, 1945. She spent her young life in SC, and moved to GA where she married Larry in 1968 and raised her children. She loved her children with a fierce love and gave unselfishly of herself to all who she came into contact with. Anne was a ray of light and a true philanthropist. Working in the business world, she achieved her dream of becoming a successful business owner with her daughter. Anne had a passion for gardening, crafting, sewing, and serving the Lord. Her most treasured Bible verse is Psalm 23 - "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside still waters. He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in paths of righteousness for his names sake." Anne was preceded in death by her loving husband of 38 years, Larry, and her infant son, Christopher. Left to carry on her legacy are her daughter, Misti (Wayne) Appleby of Bell Buckle, TN; sons, Wendell Johnson of Evans, GA, and Randall Johnson of Evans, GA;  grandson, Christian (Brittany) Johnson of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Peggy Rackley, Patrica Hembree, Fran Smoak, and Kathy Bennett; and her brother, Bubba Owens.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, March 30, 2023, at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813. The family will recieve friends for visitation at 10:00am in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
