Entered into rest at Augusta State Medical Center on November 9, 2017, Miss Sarah Purks, daughter of the late James C. and Edith Wheeler Purks of Augusta, Ga. Sarah was a resident of Gracewood State School and Hospital. She was preceded in death by her brothers James C. Purks, Jr. and Charles Thomas Wilson, and sister Linda Hurt. Survivors: sister Ollie Tolbert and a number of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. in Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Rev. Dewain French officiating. Family and friends will meet at the graveside. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday between the hours of 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Thomas L.
