Sarah Anne Carswell, 73, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 17, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia.

Anne was born in Augusta, Georgia, on October 27, 1950. She graduated from Richmond Academy and went on to study nursing. Anne retired civil service after 35 years at Eisenhower Hospital.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents, Martha Moore and Herschel Carswell; her son, Troy; her brother, Major; and her sister, Bobbie.

Anne loved and adored animals, and most especially her dogs. She loved to be around or playing in water, whether it be Clarks Hill or Tybee. Anne loved relaxing in her pool and lying in the sun, and she loved working in her yard.

Anne was so very much loved and will be greatly missed.
