MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Monday, June 17, 2013 at Doctors Hospital, Mrs. Sara S. Taylor, 86, wife of the late Mr. Clarence Taylor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Russell Davis officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today from 6-8 p.m. Sara was born in Augusta, Ga. and was a retired civil service employee from Fort Gordon. She was a member of Parkway Baptist Church. Survivors include: son, David (Cheryl) Taylor; daughter, Cynthia (Barry) Drake; grandchildren, Brian Taylor, Joshua Taylor, Angela McDowell, Adrinne Carter, Stephanie Biddle, Amy Drake; 9 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a grandson, Michael McDowell. Pallbearers: Ron Carter, Seth Carter, Joshua Taylor, Barry Drake, Brian Taylor and Wesley Taylor.
