Mrs. Ruby Miller, 98, beloved wife of the late Cecil F. Miller, Sr., entered into rest Thursday, August 3, 2017 at University Hospital. She was the wife of the late Cecil Francis Miller, Sr., co-founder of Bellevue Memorial Gardens, the Buffalo Ranch, and a nationally known cemeterian. Mrs. Miller is a native of Portsmouth, Ohio. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Miller was also preceded in death by a daughter, Janney Lynn Miller who passed away in 2002, one year and 9 months after her father passed away In 2002. Family members include 2 sons, Cecil Francis "Bud" Miller, Jr. (Lynn) of Harlem, GA, and Mark Thomas Miller of Augusta; a brother in law and sister in law, Robert G. "Bob" and Jeanette B. Miller; a very special niece, Barb Waller; and other nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 7, 2017 from the Chapel of Thomas L. King with Chaplain Daniel Wager officiating. Entombment will follow at Bellevue Memorial Mausoleum. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home on Monday, August 7, 2017.
