Ronald "Ronnie" Scott Sr., 79, of Augusta, entered into rest on August 9, 2024.

Ronnie was a longtime area resident and retired as the facilities manager of the Augusta YMCA. He was a simple man who enjoyed his boat, building birdhouses and taking pictures. He was known for always being sharply dressed in neat starched clothing. He also loved his fur baby Lucy.

Survivors include his sons, Ronald Scott Jr., and James Scott; his brother, Steve Scott; and a nephew, Steven Scott.

The family will greet friends for a time of visitation on Thursday, August 15, 2024 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Rd. Martinez GA 30907.
