Mr. Ronald "Ronnie" Edwin Jones, age 76, entered into rest Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Aiken Regional Hospital. Mr. Jones was born in Augusta, GA to the late Charles and Janie Jowers Jones. He had retired from the IBEW Electrical Union, Local # 1579. Mr. Jones was a loving and devoted father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Sunday, June 24, 2018 at New Hope Worship Center with Pastor Reagan Sommers officiating. Family members include two sons, Glenn Oglesby (Janet) of Martinez, GA and Doug Oglesby (Julie) of Grovetown, GA; 4 daughters, Terrie Smith (Buddy) of Evans, GA, Brenda Alspaugh (Alan) of Hephzibah, GA, Rhonda Wilson (William) of Augusta, GA and Julie English (Ben) of Grovetown, GA; a brother, Douglas W. Jones (Joan) of Atlanta, GA; 20 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren; a special friend, Carpie Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at the church, one hour prior to the service. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Thomas L.
