Robert F. Mitchell, 70, passed away on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at Piedmont Hospital after a long illness.

He was born in Japan on May 29, 1953.

Robert graduated from Augusta Tech with an associates degree in auto mechanics. He worked as a Master Mechanic with Club Car.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Mitchell, Sr.; his mother, Georgette Mitchell; his brothers, Robbie, Edward, and George Mitchell; and his sister, June Mejias.

He is survived by his children, Lori Mitchell of Martinez, Georgia, Michael Mitchell of Smiths Station, Alabama, and Misty Williams of Cary, North Carolina; five grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Margie Mitchell, his ex-wife and best friend.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 2700 Deans Bridge Road, Augusta GA 30906.
