Robert Wayne Dixon, Sr, 65, entered into rest on Saturday, July 16, 2022, at his home after a long, hard-fought battle with colon cancer. Wayne was born in Beaumont, TX, and traveled the country perfecting his carpentry and sheet rock skills, all the while making unforgettable memories with his son. He has called Evans, GA, home for the last 15 years. Throughout his life, he was known for his hard-working ethics, willingness to help another in need, and his all-around good nature that was sure to fill the room with smiles. Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie, and Wilma Dixon. He was one of 5 siblings. He was survived by his only son, Robert Wayne Dixon, Jr., and many friends who considered him family.

The Tiller family will host a reception in memory of Wayne from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Friday, July 22, 2022, at 291 Lake Jean Dr., Evans, GA 30809. A private service will be held at a later date.
