Riley Jayce Smith, 9, went home to be with Jesus on Friday, December 9th, 2022, at 4:06 pm.

He is preceded in death by his father, Russell Morrison. Survivors include his momma, Lisa Marie Smith; His sister, Madison Kamilah Curtis; and his brother, and best friend Adrian Kayden Smith.

Riley was born at Children's Medical center on October 6th, 2013. You never saw Riley without a smile on his face and he loved to play with shoes, any kind of shoe. He would hold it by the laces and just watch it twirl. Watching videos on his phone was one of his favorite things to do, but you had to be careful because if you were not paying attention, he would take your phone and run away laughing! He also loved listening to music, he would dance and praise at Church.Vacation Bible School was Riley's favorite time of year because he was able to see the black light puppet show.  Riley was such a blessing to everyone that met him and always brought joy to others. We love you Riley and we all will miss you!

A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, December 14th, 2022, at 6:00 pm at The Building Worship Center, 2240 Bayvale Road, Augusta ,Ga 30909. In Lieu of flowers the family ask for donations to go to The Building Worship Center note Smith family, to help the family with ongoing expenses
