Mr. Ricky L. Harper entered into rest on Monday, October 17th 2022 at Piedmont Hospital in Augusta, Georgia. Rick was born at Tift Cty Hospital in Tifton, Georgia on August, 5th 1952. Rick lived in Abbeville, GA for the past 20 years, where he was a faithful member of Antioch Baptist Church with Johnny Ashe as the Pastor. Rick had a natural ability to make others laugh.He enjoyed listening to music, playing drums, spending time with friends and family, and cooking.

He is survived in death by his brother, Glenn Harper; his sisters, Marla Evans, and Dena Harper;  his two children, Ricky L. Harper Jr, and Alyson R. Barry both of Evans, Georgia; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
