Harrington AUGUSTA, Ga. - Mr. Richard D. Harrington, 58, beloved husband of Mrs. Shirley L. Harrington, entered into rest Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Doctors Hospital. Mr. Harrington was born in Fremont, MI to the late Richard L. and Frances Overla Harrington. After retiring from the U.S. Army as a medical specialist, Mr. Harrington drove for Schneider Trucking and was also a freelance photographer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 from the chapel of Thomas L. King Funeral Home. Full military honors will be observed. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In addition to his wife, Mr. Harrington is also survived by a son, Tyler D. Harrington of North Augusta, S.C.; a daughter, Lacy Black (Julian) of Jacksonville, Fla.; a brother, Don Harrington of Fremont, MI; a sister, Vonda Harrington of Fremont, MI; two grandchildren, Jackson and Dylan Black.
