CSM Richard “Mike” Fries was called home to his Lord and Savior on February 23rd at the age of 94.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 60 years, Toshiko “Sue” Fries, who passed away just ten months earlier.

Mike is survived by his loving daughter, Patricia “Trish” Rogers, and her husband, Sam Rogers. He also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren: Wyatt Cunningham and his wife Courtney, Russell Cunningham, Sam Rogers and his wife Melissa, Dean Rogers and his wife Lindsey, and Lori Oakley.

In addition, he was the proud great-grandfather of nine great-grandchildren: Bryce, Samuel, Grace, Kade, Aly, Zachary, Grayson, Elayna, and Saide.

Mike will be remembered for his deep faith, devotion to family, and the love he shared with all who knew him. His legacy lives on through the generations of family who were blessed by his life.
