Richard James "Pops" Caldwell, 70, entered into rest on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Richard was born on August 29, 1952.

Richard was in the Local 519 Plumbers and Pipefitters for over 40 years, and in the last 20 years he was the owner of Classic Rock Hauling. Richard brought a smile to everyone's face. He never met a stranger, and he always lit up a room. He loved his classic rock, music, his hot rods, family cookouts, and his dump truck. However, his true love was his love for his family and friends, and of course, his beloved dog, Sam, and his grandoggy, Cooper.

Richard is survived by his wife, Annette Marie Caldwell; his two sons, Richard (Telisha) Caldwell II and Roger (Elisabeth) Owens; his two daughters, Melanie Caldwell and Lisa (James) Hall; one sister, Sally (Tim) Fowler; five brothers, Phil (Susan) Caldwell, Patrick Caldwell, John Caldwell, Tom Caldwell, and Ray Rawlings; five granddaughters, Brittnee (Jordan) Miller, Ashlee (Tyler) Hunt, Madasyn (Jake) Williams, Khloe Hall, and Scarlett Owens; one grandson, Joshua Caldwell; one great-granddaughter, Faithlynn Wilson; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life visitation will be held from 1:00 - 3:00pm on Friday, April 7, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907.
