Owens Sr. AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest November 5, 2013 at Select Specialty Hospital, Mr. Raymond Bozo Owens, Sr., 83, husband of Mrs. Dorothy Young Owens. Mr. Owens was born in Augusta, Ga. and retired from CSX Railroad with 41 years of service. He also served in the U.S. Marines with honor. Raymond was affectionately known as the Peanut Man. Entombment services will be held Friday, November 8, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. at the Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Dewain French officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013 from 6-8 p.m. Survivors include: sons, Raymond S. Owens, Jr., Joey E. (Beth) Owens; grandchildren, Kim Koch, Richard Owens; great grandchildren, Brook, Taylor, Riley, Madisyn, William.
