On June 18, 2022, Ms. Priscilla Baker, 93, transitioned from life in Augusta, Georgia, with her son Earl by her side.

Ms. Priscilla Baker was born on November 3, 1928, in Long Island, New York, to the late Mae Small and Fredrick Small. She was one of 13 children. She worked with PS40 school in Brooklyn, New York, and also Social Services, which she retired from. After retirement, she volunteered to mentor young parents with young children.

Ms. Priscilla Baker is preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and five of her brothers. Survivors include her children, Osceola Sanders, Barbara Peterson, James Earl Baker (Ginger), and Alan Small; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, three brothers, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many extended family and friends. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon on Monday, June 27, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907, with graveside funeral services following at 1:00pm at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904. Repast will follow at 3:00pm at the home of Earl Baker.
