Polly Doolittle, 91, wife of the late Charlie Doolittle, entered into rest on Monday, October 16, 2023.

In addition to her husband, Polly was preceded in death by her parents, Johnny O'Neal Hall and Jennell Hammett. She is survived by her sons, Charles Doolittle (Brenda) and Sammy Doolittle (Sammye); grandchildren, Chuck Doolittle, Adam Doolittle (Jo El), Ashley Thompson (Cash), Jennifer Finley (Rusty), and Laurie Mabery (John); and her great-grandchildren, Madison Doolittle, Calleigh Doolittle, Addison Doolittle, Luke Thompson, Hunter Glover, Makenzie Newsome, Avery Finley, and Hannah Mabery.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Polly's wonderful caregivers, Wanda, Emily, Bea, and Catrailus, for taking such loving and gentle care of her.

Pallbearers will be Cash Thompson, Johnny Norris, Rusty Finley, Chuck Doolittle, Adam Doolittle, and Danny Hall.

The family will receive friends from 9:00am - 11:00am on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez, GA 30907. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Thursday, October 19, 2023, in the chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, with Rev. John C. Kilpatrick and Pastor David Lambert officiating, and with burial immediately following at West View Cemetery, 2051 Division St., Augusta GA 30904.
