Phillip "Phil" Meyer Jr. beloved son, husband, and father passed away Sunday morning after a long illness. Phil was born January 12, 1967 in Augusta, GA. He resided most of his adult life in Williston, SC and Gaston, SC. Phil was an avid NASCAR, Braves, and UGA football fan. His enthusiasm for life and great sense of humor touched everyone who knew him.

He was preceded indeath by his mother Barbara. Survivors include his wife Marilynn Meyer, daughters: Jessica Spradley (Tiffany), Gaston SC, Brandi Mauldin (Josh), Williston SC, grandchildren: Autumn Mauldin, Hunter Spradley, Sullivan Spradley, Father: Phillip E. Meyer (Ann), Evans GA, Siblings: Ronald Strickland Jr., Nashville NC, Stephanie Parsons (Kevin), Surfside Beach SC, Chad Meyer (Kelly), Evans GA, Christi Landis, Surfside Beach SC, Bryan Meyer (Ashley), Statesboro GA, Uncles: Thomas Marable, Columbia SC, Kenneth Meyer, Harlem GA, Aunts: Anna Greene, Raeford NC, Kathy Stangle, Greer, SC and numerous nephews, nieces, and cousins.
