MITCHELL, Ga. - Ms. Peggy Barney Smith, 64, entered into rest Thursday, February 5, 2015 at Doctors Hospital. Ms. Smith was born in Tacoma, WA to Oscar R. Barney and the late Marjorie June Bailey. Memorial services will be at 6:30 p.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at Central Church of Christ, 3650 Old Petersburg Rd., Martinez, Ga., with Reverend Scott Patterson officiating. Family members include a son, Joshua Price (Erica) of Grovetown; daughter, Jennifer Price of Martinez; brother, John Barney (Jean) of Martinez; sister, Susan Barney of Martinez; and two granddaughters, Rosa Leigh Price and Vivian Marie Price. In addition to her mother, Ms. Smith was preceded in death by a brother, Paul Barney. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the church prior to the service. Thomas L.
