Peggy Smallwood, 89, of Augusta, passed away on June 2, 2025.

Peggy was born and raised in Gibson, GA but lived in Augusta for many years. She was retired from Kendall Corporation and attended Fleming Baptist Church. She enjoyed reading, poetry and was an avid writer.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Romie and Bell Wiggins; her husband, Jimmy Branson Smallwood; and her daughter, Penny Kaye Smallwood.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy Smallwood (Robert C. Williams), and many other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held Friday June 6, 2025 at 2:00 PM in the Gibson City Cemetery in Gibson GA.
