It is with profound sadness that we announce the untimely passing of Payton K. Overcash who left us on June 11, 2024. Born on March 17,1994, Payton touched many lives with his ever present laughter and a heart that was truly one of a kind. The void his departure leaves behind will be hard to fill.

He was a man whose happiness, love, kindness, and genuine spirit touched every person who had the privilege to truly know him. Undoubtedly, they fell in love with the radiant positivity he carried and the laughter he brought wherever he went.

His legacy, however, extends further and deeper than his infectious humor and warmth. His greatest accomplishments were his beloved children, Kayelynn Overcash and Ryder Overcash, who survive him. In them, he instilled his values of kindness, joy, and love, and it is through them that his spirit will continue to live and thrive.

Payton is also survived by his mother, Shannon Perry; his father, Karl Overcash; his grandmother, Cindy Williamson (Greg); his brother, Ashton Perry; his aunts, Dwana Castle (Casey) and Melissa Williamson (Bradley); and multiple other family members. His family was the cornerstone of his life, providing an unwavering source of love and support. Payton is preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Sandra Malone; stepfather, Danny Perry; and his uncle, Bret Williamson. In honor of Payton's life and the remarkable man he was, we remember his joyous spirit and unique heart. He taught us the true essence of happiness, and for that, we are forever grateful. His laughter will echo in our hearts, and his memory will forever be a beacon of love and kindness. Rest in peace, Payton, you will be dearly missed.
