AUGUSTA, Ga. - On Wednesday, October 30, 2013, Pauline B. Weaver passed into Eternal Glory. She was the widow of Maynard M. Weaver Sr. On September 28, 2013, they would have celebrated their 70th anniversary of wedding bliss. A native of Girard, Ga., born December 5, 1924, she was the daughter of Edwin and Sadie Ferrell Bargeron. Mrs. Weaver was the last surviving member of her immediate family. At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. This began a lifelong devotion to serving the Lord. Mrs. Weaver was known in the community as a godly woman and a tireless worker alongside her husband for over 50 years in his ministry calling. Survivors: sons, Maynard M. (Marty) Weaver, Jr., Philip E. Weaver and wife Rhonda; several grandchildren, great grandchildren and a large extended family. Special thanks is given to Mary Ella Hiers as a devoted caregiver and close friend. A very special thanks is extended to the professional staff at Kentwood Nursing Facility for their care and devotion to Mother in her final illness. A celebration of Mrs. Weaver s life will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bellevue Memorial Garden Chapel with the Rev. Richard Jeffcoat and Rob Kestler officiating. Mrs. Weaver will lie in state at the Chapel one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
