Mr. Patrick Everett Pyle, Sr., age 74, beloved husband of 56 years to Lenora Benson Pyle, entered into rest Monday, September 3, 2018 at Doctors Hospital. Mr. Pyle, was born in Augusta to the late Grady and Jessie Lou Brewer Pyle. He served in the U.S. Navy then worked for UPS as a driver for 25 years and then the VA Hospital as a Maintenance Mechanic for 20 years. Mr. Pyle was a devoted and loving father, grandfather, and brother and will be greatly missed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, September 6, 2018 from the chapel of Thomas L. King with Reverend Coley Imby officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pyle was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Celeste Connor and 2 brothers, Marvin A. Pyle and Jack G. Pyle. In addition to his wife, Mr. Pyle is also survived by a son, Patrick E. Pyle, Jr. of Grovetown, GA; a daughter, Angela Gay (Robert) of Martinez, GA, a brother, James Pyle (June) of Alexandria, AL; 2 grandchildren, Brent Sutula and Alexandria Herring Pyle, and numerous nieces and nephews.
