Mrs. Orrie Jerry Black, 78, of Martinez, GA,  passed this life to Heaven August 13th, 2022 at Doctors Hospital. Mrs. Black a life long resident of Augusta, GA and a very dedicated personnel at Murry/Kellogg company for 30 years. She love softball, football, car races, and Nascar. She was also named Mrs. Allen Park, May 5th, 1960 beauty queen. She was a very dedicated mother to her two daughters and her two grandsons, Tony Scott Black and Brandon Phipps; they were both dearly loved and were her whole world. She clearly loved her cousin Nancy King, along with her family.

She is preceded in death by her mother and stepfather, Mildred and Lamar Newsome; Brother, Billy "BB" Bradshaw;  and her childrens father and ex-husband, Robert Lewis Black. She is survived by two daughters, Robin Black and Jan Black (Bennie Phipps); and two grandsons, Brandon Scott Phipps and Tony Scott Black. Funeral services with Pastor Eric Tate officiating will be held at 11:30am on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907, with interment immediately following at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA 30904. The family will receive friends at the funeral home two hours prior to service time. Pallbearers will be Bennie Phipps, Linwood Pearl, Adam Black, Todd Poole, Brett Cain, and Blanie Carter.
