Nellie E. Pancake, 83, of Harlem, passed away on November 1, 2026.

Nellie was a longtime Augusta area resident and a retired Pharmacy Technician. She was a member of The Sanctuary in Evans and was an avid reader, often finishing a book in just a few hours. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend and will be missed.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Percy and Ethel Bishop; her husband of 57 years, Aubrey R. Pancake Sr.; her son, Aubrey R. Pancake Jr.; and her siblings, George Bishop, Marlyn Harris, Juanita Crum, Linda Burchett, and Jean Stoufer.

Survivors include her daughters, Sheila Huffman (Terry) and Teresa Durand (Mike); her grandchildren, Kelly Huffman, Stephanie Wiggins, Daniel Singletary, Chris “Wally” Dukes, and Lily Morrison; great grandchildren, Aubree Dukes and Maverick Dukes; step grandchild, Sadie Wiggins; siblings, Carolyn Brannen, Jim Bishop, Mary Beth Bishop, Charles Bishop, and David Bishop; two special friends, Bonnie Baker and Susi Lumley; as well as many nieces, nephews, and other family members.

Services will be private.
