Nadine E. Zahare 82  years old, went to be with Our Lord on January 14, 2025. Nadine, originally born and raised in McColl, South Carolina came to Augusta with her spouse by way of Fort Gordon, now Fort Eisenhower in 1976. Nadine raised four children, was a big part of her nine grandchildren's lives and the lives of her ten great grandchildren.

Nadine was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Zahare, father Lester Ellis, her mother Myrtle Ellis, her brother Ralph Ellis, her brother Clarence Ellis,  her grandson Thomas Todd and her great granddaughter Samantha Craig.

Nadine is survived by her sister, Patricia Quick (her husband Joe Quick their grandchildren, and great grandchildren); her brother, Joel Lemuel Ellis (his wife, Beverly Ellis their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren); Nadines children son, Raymond Bledsoe (his wife Samantha), granddaughter Amber Powell (her husband Maurice, her children Mariah Matthews and Londyn Johnson) granddaughter, Mary Bledsoe, (her fiancé Johnny Cogdell, their daughter, River Cogdell, their daughter, Ellory Cogdell ) granddaughter, Alexis Bledsoe (her daughter Stormi Robbins) her daughter, Trina Todd,  granddaughter, Wendy Todd, (her fiancé, Will Blankenship, her children Matthew Blankenship, and Micheal Blankenship), grandson, Joseph Todd (his wife Summer),  granddaughter, Tina Todd (her husband David Walker, their  daughter Nadine Walker), her daughter, Malissa Tucker (her husband Randall, son Victor), and her son, Leonard Zahare (his wife Angela, their son Jaccob Sonnier, and their daughter, Bittany Volmer her son Matthew, her husband, Nikki and their daughter, Lillian. Nadine is also survived by her brother-in-law Steve Zahare (his wife Terry and their children and grandchildren), and her other brother-in-law, Paul Phillips.

A celebration of life for Nadine will be held Monday, January 20, 2025, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road Martinez, GA 30907 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM. Funeral service will be Monday at 2:00 PM at the Thomas L. King Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road Grovetown, GA 30813.
