Mrs. Myrtle Peebles Poteet 96, entered into rest with our Lord on Thursday, August 31, 2017. with her family by her side. She was born in Gibson, GA, Glascock County to the late William Augustus Peebles and Lila Hobbs. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Poteet was also preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband James (Jim / J.T.) Thomas Poteet, Sr. and her son, James (Jimmy) Thomas Poteet, Jr.. Mrs. Poteet is survived by her children, Richard E. Poteet, Sr., Carol P. Cain, William (Bill) H.
