Minnie Viola Watkins Green, 83, went home to be with the Lord, Friday, October 12, 2018 at Augusta University Hospital, surrounded by her family. She was born on May 10, 1935 in Gulf Hammock, Florida to Erma Luke Watkins & Henry Albert Watkins. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church of Grovetown where she loved to worship Jesus. Family members include her sons Tony, Tim and Terry Green, sister, Naomi Black, grandchildren Michael (Katherine), Thomas (Teresa), Todd, Clair, Matthew (Tori), Olivia and Lucy Green, great grandchildren Amelia, Liliana, Gracie, Blake, Chase, Thomas, Nevaeh, Kaiden & Trent, numerous nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 8 sisters & brothers and her granddaughter, Viola Lynn Thomas. Pallbearers will be Michael, Matthew, Thomas & Todd Green, Randy, Wayne & Rusty Bohannon, Dwayne Watkins, Ricky Williams and Gary Wallace. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at 11:00 am, at First Pentecostal Church, Grovetown with Rev Dewain French officiating.
