With gracious hearts we celebrate the blessed life of Millie H. Price, who has given us happiness and love for our entire life. She passed on June 27, 2020. She was born September 27, 1934. She is survived by her children, Kaline, Perry, Shawn and Kevin, and her 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Other family survivors include her sister, Margie Greene, and her brother, Garnett Howard. Millie was the daughter of Erbie and Minnie Howard. Millie began her early life in Augusta as the Honorary Colonel Cadet at Richmond Academy in 1951. She was a model for JB White in 1954 before she met her future husband, James P. Price, Jr. They were married in 1955 and spent the first few years on the road as James pursued his career in Minor League baseball. The two of them created a beautiful life together that we all have been blessed with. She will rest peacefully in heaven as Millie was a true believer in God, helping others in need, and loving her family. Millie was always full of joy and willing to offer whatever she could to make others comfortable. She was never too busy when you needed her time and help. She survived cancer after being diagnosed in 2003, which was the same year her husband passed away. The family asked that friends and family make donations to their local churches and to the local chapter of the American Cancer Society.
