Michael "Mike" Richard Kelly II, 52, of Hephzibah, passed away on November 7, 2024.

Mike was a longtime Augusta area resident and a retired welder. Known for his infectious sense of humor and easygoing nature, Mike had a gift for making others smile, even on the toughest days. Mike was also an avid lover of music, with an extensive collection and a true appreciation for the power of song. Whether it was enjoying a quiet moment with his favorite tunes or sharing a good laugh with friends, music was always a constant source of joy and comfort in his life. Mike loved all of his friends and family, especially his children and grandchildren and his fur baby Bently. His love for his family was further shown in his care of his mother Helene. He previously enjoyed hunting and fishing. Mike was also an avid GA Bulldog fan (GO DAWGS!!). He will be deeply missed by all of his family and friends.

Mike was preceded in death by his father, Michael R. Kelly, and his brother, Eric Kelly.

Survivors are his mother, Helene Kelly; his children, Lauren Lamb, Nikki Ivey, and Jenna Long; and 6 grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, November 12, 2024 at the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Steve Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park, 2601 Wheeler Rd. Augusta GA 30904. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family kindly requests Donations be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
