Michael Kendle Hogan, 74, entered into rest on Saturday, August 13, 2022.

Michael is preceded in death by his beloved wife of 35 years, Mary Regina (Lollar) Hogan; daughter, Stephanie Holbrook; stepson, Daniel Norwood Nelson; and his adopted parents, Kendle and Larue Hogan. Survivors include his son, Michael Justin Hogan; adopted son, Landen Hogan; daughter, Leah Hogan; grandchildren, Morgan Richards and Jacob Richards; sisters-in-law, Deborah Lollar and Helen Ross; and brother-in-law, Bob Lollar.

Always the chef, Michael loved to cook. He loved classic cars and classic rock, gardening, and he could fix anything. He was a graduate of Columbia High School in Richland, Washington, Class of '66. He was drafted and served from 1968-70 as a Sergeant E5 in Okinawa. Michael was very patriotic and was a very active member of Word of Life Church. Michael was a faithful and sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous for the last 39 years. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, August 20, 2022, at Word of Life Church, 6389 Washington Road, Appling, GA 30802.
