Michael Anthony Dunaway, 50, of Augusta, passed away on July 27, 2026.

Michael was a lifelong resident of Augusta and was a retired truck driver. 

He is preceded in death by his daughter Taylor.

He is surviced by his parents, Thomas Dunaway (Amy) and Ava Payton; his son, Brandon Dunaway; his siblings, Christopher Dunaway (Belinda), and Laura Dunaway; step siblings, Dale, Josh, and Cody Sherrill, and Julie Dunaway; and his grandchild. 

The family will have private services at a later time.
