Michael Anthony Bishop entered into rest on May 5 of 2026 in Evans, GA at the age of 64. He was the devoted husband of Wazanta Bishop.

Michael was born in Spartanburg, SC on February 10, 1962 to Otis and Virgina Bishop and he is survived by two sisters, Karen Stepp and Ellie Whitner. He was most proud of his three children; Amanda Weeks, Christina Bishop, and Michael Bishop and his five grandchildren, Kole, Jackson, Amelia, Brandon, and Bennett.

Mike Moved to Augusta, Ga in his late 20’s where he met his wife and built his family and Business. He was a successful small business owner in the CSRA where he painted both residential homes and commercial buildings, However he will be remembered most for his dedication to his family.

Mike had several hobbies, but most enjoyed golfing, which he did every time he got the chance. He also loved Myrtle Beach, and would take his family there multiple times a year when his kids were younger. Mike will be missed dearly, please keep him and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
