Michael Artemus Arant Jr., a devoted follower of Christ and a steadfast believer in the Holy Bible, passed away on Wednesday, July 12th, 2023, at the age of 81.

His unwavering faith in God guided his every step and his infectious humor brightened the lives of those around him. Mike found solace and strength in his relationship with the Lord and he embraced life with a spirit of gratitude and laughter. He is survived by his beloved wife, Doris Dawson; his seven children, Michael Artemus Arant III, Ronald Arant, Donna Phelan, Paula Winkler, Rachel Arant Morris, Brandon Arant, and Trent Arant; his nine grandchildren, Jeremy and Jason Arant, Chad Masters, Carson Masters Alexander, Christopher Winkler, Caleb Winkler, Collin Winkler, and Vegas and Aria Arant; and eight great-grandchildren, Alexis Arant, Dominic Arant, Shane Arant, Jason Winkler, Nash Winkler, Cawyer Winkler, Sterling Elizabeth Masters, and Agnes Winslow Alexander.

Funeral services celebrating the life of Michael Artemus Arant Jr. will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, July 18, 2023, in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown, GA 30813, with Pastor Loyd T. Lewis officiating, and burial on the grounds immediately following. The family will receive friends in the chapel at Bellevue Memorial Gardens one hour prior to service time. All who knew him, knew of him, or want to come and support the family are welcome to attend.

May Michael's soul rest in Heavenly peace knowing he brought laughter, love, and faith to all those he touched. As we say goodbye to a man of faith and good humor, let us continue to find joy in life's moments and remember to laugh and trust in God's divine plan.
