Melissa Murphy Ellsworth, 58, of Thomson, entered into eternal rest at her residence on Friday, August 16, 2024.

Melissa was a homemaker of McDuffie County and lived in Thomson all of her life. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Tiffany Thompson; and her husband of 30 years, Gary Ellsworth. She is survived by her daughter, Jessica Wiederkehr (Tyler) of Thomson; her son, Eric Colrud of Summerville, South Carolina; and her 4 grandchildren, William Street of Tennessee, Gabriella Thompson of Tennessee, Payton Wiederkehr of Thomson, and Tyler Wiederkehr Jr of Thomson.

A memorial service will be held at 5:00pm on Saturday, August 24, 2024, at Jessica and Eric's parents' residence. Please contact the family for further information.
