Maximo Juan Reyes passed away on April 25, 2025.

Maximo was known for his love of athletics, this led to career as a professional soccer player in Peru and Venezuela. After his professional career he became a youth soccer coach. He moved to the United States in 1993 moving to New Jersey. He enjoyed cooking, music, dancing, gardening and the beach. He also was a Fitness influencer on Facebook.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Maximo C. Reyes and Natalia Reyes, and his siblings, Daniel Reyes and Rosa Colunga.

Survivors are his daughters, Daniela Reyes and Kenya Reyes; brothers, Alberto Reyes and Julio Reyes; and sisters, Berta Reyes, Teresa Reyes, Natalia Reyes, and Eva Reyes Harris

Funeral services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 at Thomas L. King Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a time of visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
