Mattie Ruth Hicks Allen (78) of Augusta Georgia entered into rest on Tuesday November 9, 2021. A celebration of her life will be held on her birthday Saturday November 13, 2021 from 4-6pm at Thomas L King Funeral Home 124 Davis Rd, Martinez, Georgia.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and retired nurse. She loved all children and was happiest when she was surrounded with the laughter of children.

She is survived by her sisters Annie Lee Tucker, Mary Holmes, and brother George Hicks III.  Daughters Raven Latisha Allen, Lakeisha Evelyn Drayton. Grand children Alexandria Alice Allen, Jayden Allen,  Xavier White, and Daisha Baker. God children Maykaya Wright, Nylah Griffin, and Jedidiah Wright.  She was also mother and grand mother to multiple generations of foster children. Thomas L. King Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
