Mrs. Mary G. Ready, age 85, of Martinez Ga., entered into rest on July 30, 2020 at Doctors Hospital. Graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday, August 4, 2020 at Evans First Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Phillip Hedgecloth officiating. Mrs. Ready was born in Selma Alabama on September 29, 1934 to the late Howard Gray and Alma McDonald. Mrs. Ready was a retired real estate agent and was a member of Evans First Baptist Church. She loved playing Words with Friends, watching her birds and watching Wheel of Fortune. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers. She is survived by her three daughters Katherine Smallwood (Clayton) of Columbia SC, Karen Jones of Denver CO., Karel (James) Blair of Hopkinsville KY, her brother Charles Deke Gray of Covington GA, 9 grandchildren, Natalie Hyatt, Michelle (Shawn) Pringle, Rhett Smallwood (Bernadette), Britt Smallwood (Amanda), Kenneth Brand, Christopher Brand, Joy Shirk (Matt), Hope Stewart, Kristen Lilly (Terry), and 11 great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to First Baptist Church of Evans 515 North Belair Road, Evans, GA. 30809.
