Martha Lee Patterson Briggs, 79, entered into rest on October 21, 2023. She was born on June 24, 1944, to the late Charles and Jenell Patterson. She was also preceded in death by two of her brothers, Frank Patterson and Billy Patterson.

She leaves behind her loving husband of 57 years, Victor Briggs; daughters, Vicky Harrold and Amy (Todd) Ross; grandchildren, Sarah Harrold, Matthew Ross, Conner Ross, and Catherine Ross; two sisters, Patricia McKenney and Linda Maddox; one brother, Robert Patterson; and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank her very special sister-in-law, Shirley Hicks, who helped care for her over two years, and also Hospice Services of Georgia, Kari, Lauren, and Contrice.

In addition to extended family, her beloved son-in-law and grandsons, Todd Ross, Matthew Ross, and Conner Ross, will serve as pallbearers.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, in the chapel at Thomas L. King Funeral Home, 124 Davis Road, Martinez GA 30907, with Rev. Terry Doss officiating, and with burial immediately following at Bellevue Memorial Gardens, 4501 Wrightsboro Road, Grovetown GA 30813. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service time.
