Mark Clendenning Ogletree, 60, of Martinez, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023. He was born to the late Vernon Allen and Joyce Ann Ogletree on August 3, 1962.

Mark is survived by his wife, Kathy; and their children, Samantha (Dylan Reed), Nicholas (Baleigh Messer with the first grandchild on the way), Michael, and John.

Mark was a loveable, stubborn, sarcastic hard ass, who would give you the shirt off his back. He loved and was loved by many, but especially his wife and children whom he loved unconditionally.

Mark had worked in the restaurant industry for many years and with many concepts. In 2020, he realized his dream and became a restaurant owner. He was living his dream, albeit too short. His wife and children will continue to follow that dream and make him proud.

The family will receive friends at 4:00 PM on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at The Vineyard Church of Augusta, 3126 Parrish Road, Augusta GA 30907, with a celebration of life following at 4:30 PM. Per Mark's request, please wear Hawaiian shirts if you have one, or bright colors, nothing dark please. He wants this to be a party!
