MARTINEZ, Ga. - Entered into rest Thursday, August 22, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Mark Elliott Relken, II, 69, husband of Mrs. Dorothy Denham Relken. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Richard Thigpen officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service. Mark was born in Port Huron, Mich. He served with Honor in the U. S. Army during the Korean War. Mark served as a Volunteer Fireman with the Martinez Fire Dept. for many years and retired as a Postal Carrier for the United States Postal Service. Survivors include, son, James Patrick (Jeanie) Weddle; daughters, Sarah (Keith) White, Marcy (Dick) Taylor, Angela (Donald) Clifton; brother, Frank (Pam) Relken; sisters, Becky (Stan) Collins, Lois (Dick) Hines; grandchildren, Travis, Kallie, Chloe, Izabella, Raven, Chelsee, Del, Danny, Katie, Stephanie, Wesley; numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
