Mrs. Nina Marjorie Sleister Young, 96, wife of the late Clarence E. Young of Grovetown, entered into rest on March 5, 2021. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Bellevue Memorial Gardens with Pastor Allen Smith officiating.

Mrs. Young was born in Augusta and was the daughter of the late Lonnie Sleister and Velma Morris Sleister. She was a cosmetologist for over 50 years. She loved her church, Marvin United Methodist, and was one of the oldest living members. She square danced for over 20 years and loved doing it. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her daughter Peggy (John) Branch, and her six grandchildren Haley, Jonathon, Sarah, David, Bryan, and Jessica.

The family would like to send a special thanks to Pruitt Hospice (Lisa Hood), for their excellent care of Mrs. Marjorie. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Marvin United Methodist Church, 4400 Wheeler Rd. Martinez GA 30907. Family and friends will meet at the graveside.
